New Apple watchOS operating system is expected to bring some decent improvements over its predecessor. Thanks to feedback from beta testers, Apple is still making some last minute changes before the watchOS 4, alongside iOS 11, become officially available.
The last watchOS 4 beta has fixed the battery drain issue that users were reporting. It looks like the problem was in the “Detect Gym Equipment,” which is now missing in the GM version. The feature is no longer available as a toggle, but can be found if you use search.
