Apple is planning to offer a paid TV service with channel bundles, reports Recode. Those bundles will be available with a single monthly fee. Among the potential offerings is one package for HBO, Showtime, and Starz.
It’s not clear how successful Apple will be in negotiating a deal to offer a bundle of that sort. Those channels currently cost $35 per month in the US. If Apple actually wants to make its new offering attractive, the bundle would need to cost quite a bit less.
Apple has struggled to get together paid TV offerings for over a year.
