Apple is apparently planning to hold a big media event next month, where it could announce multiple new iPads, a new color option for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus models, and a higher storage option for the iPhone SE.
According to Japanese blog MacOtakara, the Cupertino-based firm is going to launch a 9.7-inch, 10.5-inch, 12.9-inch, and a new 7.9-inch iPad Pro tablet at the event. The 10.5-inch model is said to feature an edge-to-edge display with very thin bezels all around. However, it will not be available for purchase in the near future. Consumers will reportedly need to wait until May to get their hands on one. The rest of the three new iPad Pro tablets are expected to go on sale next month, soon after the official announcement.
In addition to new iPad Pro models, Apple will also be announcing the addition of a new red color option for the iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus at the event. The company’s “affordable” iPhone SE model will be gaining a new 128GB storage option. Currently, the iPhone SE model is offered in 16GB and 64GB flavors only.
The exact date hasn’t been revealed yet, but if the company does indeed have plans of holding an event next month, we expect the date to be confirmed very soon.
