While we are still waiting for Apple to announce the iPad Pro 2, the company announced a new iPad that replaces the old iPad Air 2. The device is simply called iPad and while most of the specs are the same as that of the Air 2, there are some changes under the hood.
The new model is now powered by the new 64-bit Apple A9 chipset that was first seen in the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus, has a brighter display and is also cheaper. The Wi-Fi only model with 32 GB of storage starts at $329, while the LTE model is priced at $459.
