Apple reportedly has upwards of 1,000 engineers working on an augmented reality project in Israel and their technology could potentially appear in the next iPhone. This info originates from a UBS research note and it fits with some prior reports.
Multiple analysts have stated Apple is working on augmented reality and that the next iPhone will include a front-facing AR-ready camera.
Apple has made its interest in AR pretty well known. CEO Tim Cook said he thinks it’ll be “really big” and once it’s fully available, people will eventually wonder “how we lived without it.”
