Apple Fixes Unresponsive iPhone X Display In Cold Weath…

209

Following a number of reports by owners of iPhone X devices about unresponsive display in cold weather, Apple has issued a new software update that should fix the issue. Affected users noted that display is freezing up when suddenly taken outside into cold environments, before resuming normal activity a few seconds later.

Apple did say that is normal with OLED panels, but has released a new update after all. Aside from the unresponsive display fix, Apple iOS 11.1.2 also patches a problem where live photos and videos shot on an iPhone X could become distorted.
