It is hard to accept the fact that a flagship notebook with a few USB Type-C ports doesn’t come with adapter, and that is exactly what Apple did with its latest MacBook Pro. Not only there is no adapter included, but the original Apple Adapters are also very expensive.
If you are one of the users that rely on legacy connectors, you’ll be happy to hear that the Cupertino company announced a price cut on their USB Type-C adapters and Thunderbolt 3 peripherals in response to the objection to its new MacBook Pro pricing. The promotion only lasts until the end of the year.
Here is the revised pricing for Apple Adapters:
- USB-C to USB Adapter from $19 to $9
- USB-C to Lightning Cable (1m) from $25 to $19
- USB-C to Lightning Cable (2m) from $35 to $29
- USB-C Digital AV Multiport Adapter from $69 to $49
- USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter from $69 to $49
- Thunderbolt 3 to Thunderbolt 2 Adapter from $49 to $29
