With the introduction of iPhone 8, 8 Plus and iPhone X in September, Apple launched its all-new A11 Bionic chipset, which is currently the most powerful mobile chipset. Apple achieved that by packing six cores inside it, and looks like there is even more room for improvement.
New reports suggest that Apple is now working on the A11X version that is expected to launch with new iPads in the spring and will feature an octa-core processor. That would make it even more powerful in multi-core tasks, while we know that Apple is untouchable in single-core tasks.
