AOC has announced that its high-end 35-inch curved gaming monitor AGON AG352QCX is now shipping. The monitor features a huge 35-inch MVA panel in 21:9 format, delivering a truly immersive gaming experience. While it does not offer high pixel density, its high refresh rate is definitely something that could attract a lot of gamers towards it. Plus, the large size and the greater curve than most other monitors on the market is an advantage as well.
Key panel specs include 2560 x 1080 resolution, 4ms response time, 2000:1 static contrast ratio, 178/178 degree viewing angles, 300 nits maximum brightness, 200Hz native refresh rate with Adaptive-Sync technology (compatible with FreeSync at a range between 30 and 200Hz), flicker-free backlight, and a 2000R curvature.
Display connectors include a DisplayPort 1.2a (FreeSync support), HDMI 2.0, and a D-Sub. The monitor also comes with a 4-port USB 3.0 hub, a stand for your headset, and built-in 5W stereo speakers. The integrated stand offers pivot, swivel, tilt, and height adjustment.
AOC hasn’t revealed the pricing info yet, but we expect the monitor be priced higher than $500 in the US. Similarly, there is no word yet on when or if the monitor will land in Singapore.
