Google’s Project Zero initiative has revealed another vulnerability in Microsoft’s software. This time an issue with the company’s Internet Explorer and Edge browsers was disclosed. The bug can cause a browser to crash and enable the execution of malicious code by third-parties.

Project Zero first identified the problem in Microsoft’s software on November 25, 2016. As usual, it gave Microsoft time to respond before it revealed the vulnerability to the public.

Information about the bug was published on February 23, though Google didn’t specify which browser versions are susceptible.

Microsoft still needs to send out a patch, which will likely come in March.
