As it seems, a 12-core processor is in the works, Not a server chi bit once again a product for a high performance desktop. Features a new socket and turbo clock at 3.2 GHz as Videocardz spotted. It is save to say it would be a cut-down version of the16-core processor. This 12 core / 24 threaded CPU would most likely be intended for AMD’s HEDT X390 platform. The PC detected with this CPU is an Alienware Area-51 R3.
