An alleged render of the upcoming Xiaomi Mi 6 flagship smartphone has been posted on Weibo, showing a dual-camera setup at the back.
If you have been following Mi 6 rumors for a while, you will be aware that the smartphone isn’t expected to sport dual cameras. That does make us a little unsure about the authenticity of the leaked render. Of course, if it is in fact the real deal, then it would mean that all rumors so far have been inaccurate regarding the smartphone’s rear camera setup. The back of the handset also appears to be curved on the sides, a design touch seen on the Mi Note 2.
The front of the handset reveals an ‘edge-to-edge’ display design, with very thin bezels on the sides. As expected, the top and bottom bezels aren’t very thin, so it will definitely not rival the Mi MIX as far as screen-to-body ratio is concerned.
Xiaomi’s Mi 6 is rumored to be available in two different variants, both sporting a different screen size. However, under the hood, the two variants are expected to be powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 octa-core chipset. Other key specifications such as the amount of RAM, onboard storage, display resolution, and a few others are expected to differ. We expect to find out more about the Mi 6 in the coming weeks, as the smartphone is rumored to be announced in April.
