HMD Global and Nokia have recently announced they have been working on Android 8.0 Oreo update for its flagship smartphone, the Nokia 8, and that the update will be released in 2017. The two companies have now confirmed that all current smartphones, sans the Nokia 3310, will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo.
Not only will they get the Oreo update, but HMD has also confirmed that the next version of Google’s mobile operating system, currently known as Android P, will be released for the current and all future smartphones.
