Popular gaming systems manufacturer Alienware has updated its popular 17-inch and 15-inch gaming laptops with quite a few new features and a revamped design. The biggest highlight however, is that the bigger 17-inch model now comes with Tobii eye tracking technology.

The integrated eye tracking functionality on the new Alienware 17 will allow users to perform several actions without having to interact with the keyboard or the touchpad. Some of the interesting things that you can do include waking up the notebook from sleep model by looking directly at the Alienware logo, turn on keyboard illumination by looking at the keyboard, use the Windows Hello feature to login to the device without a traditional password, and more. Alienware and Tobii have also teamed up with Overwolf to bring eye tracking data to their popular training tools. In addition to these, Alienware 17 owners will also be able to play over 40 Tobii eye tracking enabled titles in the near future. Early buyers of the laptop will be receiving a free Standard Edition copy of Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs 2, which supports several Tobii eye tracking features.
