Alcatel is preparing something big for the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2017. The company is expected to introduce five new smartphones on February 27 in Barcelona and one of those devices is rumoured to be a modular smartphone, about which we have very little information.
The invite has the words ‘Light Up’ up front, alongside a lit-up device with a mesh-like design, which could be the modular model. We have heard that the phone will have replaceable back covers that users will replace to add various functionalities. We don’t exactly know what additional functionalities Alcatel’s replaceable back covers will add to the smartphone.
