DESIGN

Looking at it from afar, it may look like any other watch. It’s not just any watch; it’s an exquisite smart watch that does more than just telling the time. I got a black which is among the three colour variants available.The alloy metal of the watch frame is carefully designed to make a statement; the leather straps are nothing out of the ordinary as it fit perfectly on my wrist. The alloy casing has a high hardness, strengthened with wear corrosion rust resistance; this means that if you sweat a lot like I do, the liquid cannot destroy the watch.

Being the best suitable screen size with a high-definition picture display that relays beautiful graphics and gives you a great experience. The user interface of the screen is friendly and with options to select from. The Clock UI is intended to make a fashion statement; you can change it according to your style, outfit, and event.

SOFTWARE

The smartwatch phone is equipped with an MTK6261 processor, 32MB Ram and 32MB of Rom. It can connect with other Bluetooth enabled device through Bluetooth V3.0. It supports GSM also, with frequency GSM850/900/1800/1900MHz. You can make or answer a phone call from your wrist watch.

I effortlessly sent and received messages using the device. I was also able to sync the device with my smartphone in a convenient manner.

PERFORMANCE

It is an incredible device that can serve many purposes. Let’s start with the beautiful, clear and audible music that comes out of the speaker. I can enjoy splendid music anywhere and anytime with my smartwatch. The Aiwatch Y6 smartwatch has a sleep monitoring feature; the sleep monitoring capability will help you monitor how you sleep.

If you are health-conscious, the pedometer in the device will help record the steps you take, the calories consumed and the distance you cover to make you fully control your sports, a sedentary reminder to assist you in developing scientific habits and efficiently resist sub-health habits.

The device is compatible with a wide range of other devices; you can remotely take pictures and play music with brands such as Huawei, Oppo, Coolpad, ZTE, Xiaomi, Gionee, Tecno, Meizu and many others.

Playing music from my smartphone via the smartwatch speakers left many of my friends wondering. I do not have to remove the smart watch before I can take a picture due to the position of the 0.8mp camera, which delivers pictures not so clearly but manageable.

VERDICT

This is not my first smartwatch, but I will give kudos to Aiwatch. I’m not saying it is a top notch device, but I’m impressed with the functionality of the device. However, more could have been done to make the device a darling of smart watch lovers. Let’s start with the design of the strap leathers; it was designed as if it is not needed, and without it, using the device cannot be regarded as a watch.Too much attention is paid

Too much attention is paid to the Alloy case. Another aspect is the battery which I would say delivers averagely, listening to music on the device for a long time always takes the better part of the lifetime. For a device of this calibre, the camera could have been used to hijack a sizeable market share by the manufacturer. But they limit themselves to just 0.8mp.

Lastly, the non-provision of a USB adapter could cause enough damage to the battery as the user may use any available adapter without cognizance to the output. I didn’t regret buying the device, but they can make it a bit costlier and better.
