Advantech October revenues down

Advantech has announced consolidated revenues of NT$3.17 billion (US$100.74 million) for October, down 10.5% on month and 2.54% on year. The company’s combined consolidated revenues for the first 10 months in 2016 were NT$34.37 billion, up 9.09% on year.

Advantech said it had strong performances in Japan, South Korea and Europe in October, while its Embedded Computing Group (ECG) and Applied Computing Group (ACG) businesses were the main growth drivers.

As for the first 10 months combined, the company’s revenue performances in Japan and South Korea were the best, followed by Europe and Greater China.

Advantech reported third-quarter consolidated revenues reaching NT$10.07 billion, down 2.6% sequentially, but up 9.4% on year; gross margins at 41.5%, higher than the second quarter’s 40.2% and 39.7% from the same quarter a year ago. The company’s net profits for the three quarters were NT$1.46 billion, up 0.2% sequentially and 19.5% on year, and EPS NT$2.32.

The company’s consolidated revenues for the first three quarters combined were NT$30.26 billion, up 10% on year, net profits were NT$4.22 billion, up 12.7% on year and EPS NT$6.72.
