ADATA Technology has released the SD600 external SSD, utilizing high quality 3D TLC NAND flash to deliver impressive transfer speeds and high reliability.

ADATA claims the SD600 external solid state drives reach sequential read speeds of 440 MB/s and sequential write speeds of 430 MB/s. That’s roughly four times the performance that traditional internal and external hard drives can reach. The 3D TLC NAND flash memory used inside the SD600 offers increased density, reliability, and longevity when compared to older 2D/planar memory. The integrated DRAM cache and SLC cache allows the SD600 drive to provide sustained high speeds even under heavy operational loads or when moving large files.

The SD600 features a stylish and durable design with a weight less than half of traditional external hard drives at just 90 grams. Despite being light weight and portable, the SD600 provides good protection in case of accidental drops or bumps, thanks to the use of impact-resistant materials. It connects to devices using a USB 3.1 port and is driver-free compatible with Windows desktops and laptops, Xbox One, PS4, as well as Android devices.

ADATA SD600 is now available worldwide in 256GB and 512GB variants.
