To better compete with the popular Lenovo’s IdeaPad/Yoga and HP’s Envy/x360 lineup, Acer is launching a new model powered by Intel’s Kaby Lake-R processor. The Taiwanese manufacturer has now announced that a new Spin 5 is now available with a sleeker aluminum chassis as well as Core i5-8250U and i7-8550U processor options.
Acer Spin 5 is available in 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch sizes, and now feature USB Type-C ports and full-size SD card readers. The 15.6-inch model is also available with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 GPU with 4 GB VRAM.
The 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch models will start shipping soon and are currently available from Acer’s official website for $799 and $999, respectively.
