Apple products have made their way into the majority of American households, with 64% of Americans now owning at least one device from the company. According to CNBC’s All-America Economic Survey, the average US household has 2.6 Apple products.
Those stats are up substantially from 2012, when 50% of Americans had at least one device and the average household had 1.6 products.
Only a small number of demographic groups have a sub-50% ownership rate, including “those with incomes under $30,000, retirees and women over age 50.”
When looking at wealthier Americans who have incomes over $100,000, the ownership rate is 87%.
