Up to 38% of American jobs are at risk of being automated by the early 2030s, according to a Price Waterhouse Cooper report. The report found the US is likely to be more affected by automation in the coming 15 years than the UK, Germany, and Japan.
As we know from other analyses, industries like transportation and manufacturing are going to be affected more significantly and much sooner than others.
This report strongly goes against the US Treasury Secretary Mnuchin’s beliefs. He recently said automation isn’t “even on our radar screen” and that it’s “50-100 years” away.
