Comment on 2011 15″ 2.2ghz i7 Macbook Pro Review | My thoughts after a week by mkngrm.
@GamerCrazyHD I can’t really say whether it would be a huge difference between the i5 and i7, your best bet would be to try an Apple forum where people have some test results from both machines. I do know that the difference between the 2.2ghz and 2.3ghz i7 in the 15″ doesn’t make a huge difference, but you’re talking about a 400mhz difference. If I had to bet, you would be better off with the i7. Just my opinion though, I don’t have any facts to back that up. Sorry I couldn’t be more help.
