the bottom price ….. but really great sound,
But it does not shuffle! And if you turn it off it always goes back to the first track. So the trick is to always leave it on. When you come back home, leave the player on and put it on the charger. That way when you start listening to it again it will be somewhere fresh in the playlist. The controls work great, but there is no display screen to show artist name. But,hey,so what! It is kind of fun to load up some new artists and “fly blind”
It is completely indistructable and it is shipped direct from China!
A lot of fun for five bucks!

If cheap is what you need, then you’ll love it,
A list of the unit’s negative qualities:
-I’ve never gotten it to function as a card reader, as it seems the mini usb connection on my unit is loose. Charging can also be irritating so make sure the light is lit and then leave it
-Some audio hiss and mild popping noises (which aren’t objectionable) depending on the content being played
-No seek function
-Can only jump forwards or backwards between tracks by file name (folders are not a problem though, but you must skip through all of the files in one folder to get to the next)
-You need to support both sides of the unit when inserting or removing headphones or a mini usb cable, otherwise it’s pretty durable
The unit’s shining positive qualities:
-Cheap, really cheap. You don’t have a screen to worry about scratching, and if all you want is a no frills mp3 playback device, then cheap is great
-An excellent solution for pre-recorded voice tracks
-This player was made for books on tape or archived radio shows
I’ve fallen in love with this unit despite it’s flaws. It’s small and I can toss it wherever I need it. I like to listen to radio and an audio bible at night, and I haven’t crushed it yet even after rolling over on it. Even if I somehow did crush it (unlikely, as it’s pretty durable minus the connections), I would just buy another one. This thing really does deserve 4 stars as it’s much less expensive than anything else I’ve seen. The next price bracket is the 20-30 dollar players, and while they are much nicer, they cost more too. If I didn’t go for this one, I’d go for a Sansa Clip, but again, that costs more, so this is perfect :).

Needs Instructions,
Start Up Instructions for Miniclip
1. Insert micro flashcard into Miniclip, making sure the card is extended all the way inside the Miniclip and not sticking out at all. It will click into place once it is locked all the way in.
2. Make sure the Off-On switch is turned to Off.
3. Connect Miniclip to a Microsoft computer USB port using cable supplied.
4. Leave Miniclip in the computer overnight and have the computer turned on so the Miniclip battery can charge up.
5. Now turn the Off-On switch on the Miniclip to On and your computer should say “Loading drivers” onto your Miniclip. This should conclude with a message on your computer to the effect that the drivers were successfully loaded on the Miniclip.
6. Almost there, copy the MP3 songs you want to hear onto the Miniclip using Microsoft Windows Explorer.
7. Plug in your ear buds, turn off the Miniclip and disconnect the Miniclip from the computer (this is like re-booting the Miniclip after initializing it). FINALLY, turn the Off-On switch back On and press the Start/Pause switch. ENJOY.
