Little Orange Rockbox!,
A lot of the negative reviews for this product focus on the difficulty of use. I have to disagree. Personally this is not my first iPod. After several years my MiniApple iPod 4 GB mini M9160LL/A (Silver) OLD MODEL just didn’t hold a charge, so it was time to replace it. I opened it and plugged it in to the USB on my computer and it instantly recognized it and “sync”-ed it to my already established iTunes library. Couldn’t be easier. I am not tech savvy at all, but this thing worked right out of the box.
Another common complaint is the battery life. Be sure to fully charge it for three to four hours (it’s in the manual guys) before you use it. It lasted a five hour flight, which is good enough for me.
2g may seem small, but if you carefully select your music, (its a good …oh, I don’t know eight or ten hours of music, I’m no expert) it should get you where you’re going.
The complaints bout the voice-over feature are unfounded, because it gives you the option to turn it off completely. Sure, going from a mini or a nano where you can browse your library this little shuffle may be frustrating, but for fifty bucks, it’s a great little rockbox that kept me entertained. By the way, you can always put it on random to shake things up a bit, it doesn’t ALWAYS play the songs in the exact order.
I should probably note that a few times when shoving it into my pocket I hit the pause button, but once I figured out what I was doing, it was no real problem. There is no “lock” feature to prevent this.
Like any new toy you should read the manual and play with it for a bit before you write a bad review. Personally I love my new (tiny) iPodApple iPod shuffle 2 GB Orange (4th Generation) NEWEST MODEL.

The REAL mp3 player,
The buttons make it very easy to change music, you don’t have to looks through your iphone or ipad to skip song, just feel the buttons and skip the song, it’s perfect when I”m on the track or on my motorcycle or any other situations when you don’t want to take out the player and look at it to change songs.
With the 128aac apple compression (keeps great sound quality for most people) you can hold roughly around 300 songs.
Voice over function is just an extra feature that makes the shuffle awesome, it reads which song you are currently playing
It’s basically a remote that plays music, This is probably going to be my primary music platform
