   This case is great, it makes my black ipod not look scratched up and gross in the front. The black front has some texture so it’s easy to grip while I’m at the gym and it doesn’t go flying when my hands are a little sweaty. It is pretty heavy duty. I haven’t dropped it yet but I’m sure it will keep my ipod looking good if I do.

   I just received a slim 160GB iPod Classic for Christmas and while it looks very sleek and shiny now, I was afraid it wouldn’t stay that way for long without a little help. I didn’t want some rubber or silicone case that covers up the classy design of the iPod itself, so I began browsing the hard acrylic cases that are out there. This one seems to be the best by far. Its clear back piece allows you to see that nice, shiny iPod showing through, while the front has a fairly tough piece of textured aluminum (in black, to mimic the front of my player). It’s a fairly simple design that just works well. The clear screen cover gives you a great look at the iPod’s screen, and the side cutouts do allow you access to all ports and buttons. It’s only going to be defensive against scratches, nicks and the like…there’s no cushioning or shock absorbent material inside. So if you plan on dropping your iPod a lot, you may want to look elsewhere.
